The 100th Anniversary of the Titanic sinking.

     Two weeks ago, that was the 100th anniversary of the Titanic (the famous luxury liner boat) sinking, which was adapted into a film in 1997. But what is the Titanic, what is its frightening story ?

The titanic was a huge luxury liner boat, which could transport up to 3.500 passengers. It was 872 feet long, and 175 feet high (9 deck). 24 knots were to the disposition to the passengers in case of accident. 3000 people, during 3 years, have built it, indeed it was an enormous boat, with a lot of activities inside : swimmingpool, gym room, casino... and a luxuy restaurant, with incredible repplies (for exemple : 40 tons of potatoes, 36000 oranges...).

The frist (and last) travel of the Titanic was between Southampton (Enland) and New York (USA). The boat was divised in three classes, the price of the travel for the first class was 3400$, and for the third : 36$ !!! Around 2000 passagers were present the day of the accident. Indeed, the boat crashed on an iceberg, and sank under the sea. The knots was used by the first and second class passengers. All of the third class passengers died.

Nowadays, the vessel is under the sea : 2,3 miles below the surface... Recently an australian billionaire decided to rebuild the Titanic...
